The Philosopher’s Stone, says Wikipedia, is a legendary substance capable of turning base metals into gold or silver. Isn’t that what today’s entrepreneurs are trying to do?

Actually, I don’t think so.

For the most part, entrepreneurs (small business owners) aspire to greater things than simply making money. They want to create something special, gain freedom, support their family, and build their community. Sure, money’s important, but only as a means to an end.

To them, the Entrepreneur’s Stone is a way to convert their creativity, time and energy into their aspiration.

Which is why I’m calling this blog The Entrepreneur’s Stone. I’ll use these pages to write about thinking, focus, leadership, planning, execution and philosophy, all from the business owner’s perspective.

I hope it’s entertaining. I hope it helps you. I hope to hear from you.
